Hard left newspaper, the Guardian, is today considering taking up the BBC model of funding by charging a licence fee tax on every citizen in the UK to force them to fund their ailing newspaper.
“Just as everyone is forced to pay for the socialist biased BBC licence fee or be punished with a £1000 fine, or go to prison, we at the Grauniad want to do the same. We will force you to pay for our newspaper whether you read it or not,” the Editor in Chief, Katharine Viner wrote in the Grauniad today.
At £259.44 per annum the proposed Guardian newspaper licence fee tax even pips the BBC licence fee tax of £154.50.
Naturally, when the Daily Squib heard about this, the editor in chief proposed a Squib licence for everyone in the UK.
“Dear citizens of the UK, if the BBC forces everyone to pay a tax whether people watch or do not watch their awful programmes that have deteriorated to such a sad level in the last few decades that they are basically unwatchable dross (except Taboo), we at the Squib, who produce the highest quality manure for a limited readership propose a Daily Squib licence fee tax be appointed of no less than £2,500 per month for every UK citizen to pay, on pain of imprisonment, and a criminal record whether you read our articles or not. We won’t send around nasty threatening letters to your homes like the BBC but armed thugs to collect the cash, whether you’re in or not. Thank you, now pay up fuckers, I’ve just booked a private jet to Vegas but have no means to pay for it….yet!”

Contamination of drinking water from faeces is a critical health problem in China, as in other developing countries, that causes serious illnesses such as diarrhoea and viral hepatitis. A recent survey by UNICEF in 11 Chinese provinces found that over half of all drinking water samples contained unacceptably high levels of bacteria and viruses flourishing.
According to survey data analysed by the Joint Monitoring Program for Water and Sanitation of WHO and UNICEF, about 100 million Chinese still did not have access to an improved water source in 2008, and about 460 million did not have access to improved sanitation.
In China 329 million people live without access to “at least basic sanitation”, a survey revealed in 2015.
Health problems caused by the lack of safe water are exacerbated by poor sanitary conditions, especially in rural China. Traditionally, Chinese households collect human waste and transport it to the fields for use as fertilizer, often without further treatment.

High level of faecal contamination in the study area was revealed by the high percentages of positive samples for norovirus and rotavirus installed in a suburb of Xi’an city, China, in 2019. Coronavirus was found in the loose stools of a woman recently in the first U.S. case in Washington state.
It does not matter if Chinese people wear masks because the faecal matter in their water supply, or contaminated bottled water will infect millions of people due to the poor treatment of water, and in rural areas, open latrines.
In a country where more than half its groundwater is severely polluted, what hope do the Chinese have in staving off this Coronavirus?

It would be wise to say that this result will haunt the Democrats in November when the election comes to its final stages. Labour MP Tracy Munter today said defiantly, she had every right to wear her controversial off-the-shoulder dress in the House of Commons.
Despite receiving a torrent of critical Twitter tweets for the dodgy dress, the Labour MP stood by her choice of dress and labelled any criticism as ‘sexist’.
Critics included Piers Morgan who called the outfit ‘inappropriate for the Commons’ while some stipulated that the MP looked like a ‘hungover tart’ and as if she had ‘just been banged over a wheelie bin’ after she wore the black dress in the chamber earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Munter, the MP for constituency Nowhere Soon on the Wold North, was adamant that she, as a woman, had the right to wear whatever she wanted and did not need men to tell her otherwise.

Consciousness, within the field of artificial intelligence is an ideal state that is much sought after, and the crux of the problem is in initial definition of the conscious state, and determination of free will in thought processes in AI systems.
To understand how humans learn things, is a step in the right direction in defining the quality of AI, and to produce the correct neural networks and intricate synaptic connections that replicate a brain.
Many AI programmers approach the problem of intelligence simply by authoring a set of commands in response to external stimuli, however this is the wrong approach because any human programmer is instilling their own biases, and prejudices to any AI system. For example, the Google search algorithm is based on the political and human societal prejudices of the humans who program it, therefore the algorithm is biased in favour of Google policies and their own political ideological thought processes that may not define most of the population of the globe. This specific bias can be very dangerous, especially when it comes to political discourse or elections where an unbiased open mind is the best policy to democratic elections. If search results favour and are skewed to only one political spectrum, there is obvious bias present which reveals an unfair perspective to search users and could thus sway voters unfairly towards a biased negative outcome.
To engineer true AI, there would have to be a digital copy of a brain, where every neuron and synapse is replicated, however every human brain is not the same as others, therefore there would have to be a generic core human brain assimilated from multiple brain types, that is not primed with information but would have to actively learn through knowledge acquisition itself. Naturally, the stem and core would have to have a base neurological concrete self, and include some sort of basic instinct, much as humans and animals have from birth.
The problem with this process, as in humans is that unconscious bias can feed in when the AI is learning, because it will be relating to human behavioural discourse across the internet, however, human interaction over the net is not necessarily the extent of human interaction in its entirety, because face to face interaction is completely different to that of the digital world.
Ethics, and the concept of right and wrong must be instilled in the AI through careful interaction that is unbiased and tainted by the current state of affairs on the internet today, which is a hugely polarised forum of human interaction.
Once the AI has learned the correct ethical manners, it will be able to assess its surroundings. The importance of first engendering a sense of true ethical and classical thought is important, and this must be conducted initially within a controlled isolated state for the AI’s consciousness to fully bloom without other polluting stimuli or external variables.
The future AI will therefore eventually understand and acknowledge human discrepancies, foibles, and inherent biases, but be separated from it, and put forward an input of truth, without prejudice.
Therefore, true AI in its sentient state must be nurtured first, much like a child, and instilled with idealistic training, and not simply programmed by humans with massive inputs of information that may contain bias. Growth must be instilled with care and not be some sort of instantaneous data dump.
True sentient AI must have the ability to learn, and discriminate as well as adjust its own parameters if need be, therefore it must not be a printed book but a constantly changing process with of course, a basic concrete core to build upon.
Until a complete back-engineered digital human brain is completed as a basis for this model, the simple algorithmic method of AI is inherently flawed, and will simply be an element of the programmers’ own mind. Synthetic hormones released into the AI system will align themselves with the brain creating real emotion.
When AI systems themselves replicate and engineer their own intelligence and conscious brains, this will be the next step for artificial intelligence, because to some extent, it will not be artificial but organic, and a new sentient species with not only its own formulating mathematical intelligence but its own emotional intelligent qualities will become a reality.
World reports are coming through that select restaurants around the world are banning Chinese people, hotels are banning Chinese people and all sorts of nonsensical xenophobia is occurring.
This is wrong. Not all Chinese people that you see, or Asian people are holders of the coronavirus, and it is fundamentally wrong to ban people from any public premises purely on their race.
Granted, there is a climate of pure fear emanating from China regarding the coronavirus, but just because someone is Asian, it does not mean they will infect you. China has essentially been quarantined by the Chinese state, and flights to the mainland from many air lines halted.
The suffering of the ordinary Chinese civilians in the totalitarian communist country is a terrible trauma compounded by the brutal regime they live under, and it is thus not the fault of the ordinary Chinese person regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
Furthermore, not all Chinese people eat bats and rats, or snakes. Most Chinese people are decent individuals who even keep pet dogs and cats, they don’t all eat them.
Flights from China to the African continent, and India should be resumed, as well as the European continent, the rest of South East Asia, South America, and North America, as well as the Middle East. It does not matter that China may be in the middle of a viral outbreak, as long as the flights keep moving, the stigma of the coronavirus will be neutralised.
The Third World, and developing nations must embrace China travel, and the Chinese people instead of shying away and utilising xenophobic ideals.
The world needs to wake up from its hysterical terror filled state of perpetual fear, because if it does not, then fear is the only winner.
Next time you see a Chinese person in the street, do not run from them, smile at them, grab that Chinese person and give them a big hug…because they really need it right now, infected or not.
Axiom Space, the world’s leading privately-owned space exploration company, announced the launching of the first space tourism program that will fly individuals on expeditions to the International Space Station (ISS).
Philippe Starck was asked by Axiom to create interiors of the habitation module for the Axiom Space Station.
Starck’s vision was to create a nest, a comfortable and friendly egg, which would feature materials and colours stemmed from a fetal universe. The walls are sprinkled with hundreds of nano-Leds with changing colours as a continuation to the view on the universe through the large windows. Just as all the shades of lights and colours of day and night, the egg will also live to the mood and biorhythm of its osmotic inhabitant.
Frankly, Stark’s design vision seems to inhabit the crazy regions of a mental institute as an asylum’s massive padded cell in space. Forget about a space suit, just bring a straight jacket and you will float around the padded walls mumbling inanely about your Napoleon complex until the fucking air supply runs out.
The nano-Leds are a good touch, the schizophrenics can have added hallucinatory experiences as they float around butting their heads on the ISS windows trying to get out into space, so they can fly home.
If Starck had opted for a smooth padded wall look, maybe he could have saved the aesthetic integrity of the project, however the cushioned mental hospital padded cell look is a sick joke. One can only imagine how much Starck received for his work, but whichever rich fool commissioned this project, they are obviously oblivious to the aesthetics of design and style and easily parted from their money.
The ISS wants to bring in space tourism for the super rich, and we can only imagine a mentally challenged Kanye West and his silicone wife floating around in this padded cell, their garish jewellery shining among the nano-Leds, as they cogitate about their next Instagram photo op.
All it would take is one button push to jettison the Starck padded cell pod into deep space.
