But the demonstrators called for more changes in the security forces as well as reforms to the way the country is run. It is suspected that many of the SARS police have simply been reassigned to different units, and nothing has changed.
Unrest in Nigeria could spread to other African nations where the populations are constantly brutalized under militaristic leaders.
These protests are similar to the protests in the USA, and Europe, and constitute an awakening of the populations to their treatment at the hands of police forces. As populations across the globe, especially in developing nations increase, there will be more unrest.

This time, Biden has not faltered under the pressure applied on him by Trump and his campaign team, and he has stood firm and run an effective campaign.
Of course, the national polls, which show Biden to be in a clear lead, do not reflect the fact that this election will undoubtedly still be a very closely fought battle. While Biden may indeed win the nationwide popular vote, as Clinton did four years ago, the battle for the Electoral College looks set to go right down to the wire.
In 2016, Trump defeated Clinton by a healthy margin of 304 to 227, after winning a number of the key battleground states, including several that Barack Obama had won four years prior. But this year, the polls in those states are looking extremely close, and if some of them were to swing Biden’s way, then Trump would be in real trouble.
There is still time, of course, before Election Day, and Trump has been hitting the campaign trail, visiting a number of those swing states to make one last bid at canvassing more support. If Trump is to be successful on November 3rd, then he’ll have to prove that he still has much to offer, despite the often tumultuous nature of his presidency so far.
There is also a sense that the President must show that he can operate in a more measured, level-headed way than he has done during his tenure thus far. It’s been four years defined by outlandish statements, controversial policies, and a vitriolic Twitter presence. All of this has contributed to the country’s reputation diminishing in the eyes of people around the world, to the point where many point and laugh at the US.
If Trump is serious about earning another four years, then he will have to temper his behaviour to be more universally appealing. That perhaps explains his performance at the recent televised presidential debate, which was a much more controlled affair than the first debate, which sparked fireworks and bitter jibes among the two candidates. Trump was more guarded second time around, and as a result gave a more convincing performance.
There have long been questions over how much of Trump’s presidential persona is an act, geared towards stirring up controversy and division, or whether that his simply his personality. Either way, there is a sense that his style of politics is beginning to wear on the electorate, and with the election just days away, he’ll have to demonstrate that he has more strings to his bow.
If there is one thing that this pandemic has taught us here in the City by the Bay: it’s compassion. Not that we didn’t already have it in spades—because we did. But, now we have more.
Just this very morning, as I was returning to my flat with two compostable cups of biodynamic, pumpkin oat-uccino, I, by way of one or more of my senses, became aware of an unhoused-individual attending to his bodily obligations just outside my front door. Drawing closer, it warmed my heart to see that this neighbor of mine was riding swiftly along on the train of compassion (dangling his overgrown toe-nails from off the caboose as it were)—a (mostly unsoiled) disposable surgical mask was strapped firmly to his face. Well, maybe it was sort-of under his chin. For a while, anyway.
Still, that’s compassion.
Later that same day, as I headed downtown to run some errands, I managed to, ever-so-gingerly, tip-toe over no fewer than seven substance-dependent, unhoused-individuals who had, very compassionately, left their dirty needles in a position conspicuous enough to avoid stepping on. I wondered why they would choose to sleep on the streets. After all, Gavin Newsom was compassionate enough to force the hotel owners to become compassionate enough to allow their hotels to be seized and converted into squats and meth-labs. I breathed a sigh of relief to remember the supreme compassion of our city supervisors who had the good will to allot a modest percentage of our city’s revenue to be put toward a fund to provide these gentle fellows of ours with access to free alcohol, tobacco and cannabis—panhandling is just too dangerous—we wouldn’t want them to have to put themselves at any unnecessary risk along their path to complete self-annihilation. That just wouldn’t be the compassionate thing to do.
That night, while dining al-fresco in a make-shift, plywood parklet in the middle of traffic, my date and I (quite compassionately indeed) ignored the stench which wafted toward us from the tent city shuddering in the breeze not fifteen feet downwind from our moules-frites and Sancerre. As if by a bit of magic, just after our steaks had been cleared, a familiar face arrived at our table to roughly demand “a little help”—none other than the man I’d met on my doorstep that morning–I recognized him by the stains on his facemask. As he staggered off, our waiter, very compassionately, offered us the mousse au chocolat. We, compassionately, declined.
What happens when the media keeps pushing the premise that the U.S. election result is in the bag for Democrats? The daily pumped up polls for Biden sweeten up the chumps for a big fall if things don’t go their own way. They’re set for a win, a guaranteed win because the pollsters said so. There can be no other result than a Democrat win.
One has to understand the insular nature of Americans, they generally have a very limited world view, and to them nothing exists out of their closeted world. In the run up to the U.S. Elections they are fed nonsense and propaganda day in day out for a two-year run-up period. This sort of conditioning creates an almost fanatical following for whoever they are following, and their limited world view is very linear, controlled by the American media overlords and monopoly tech giants.
Despite all the mass censorship, YouTube purges, and blatant bias towards one single candidate, which is tantamount to election rigging, Trump still could win the election. Every cog, every gear is programmed against him, every carefully engineered debate or supposed level playing field is skewed in favour of Joe Biden, so it is impossible for the Democrats to even imagine Trump winning a second term.
We have to understand the collective psychosis of socialists, and the Soviet programming they are subject to daily. One of the prominent soviet techniques of mass programming is the utilisation of repetition. If you repeat an untruth enough times, and by a trusted body, it will eventually be believed. Socialism is a form of religion, a cultish behaviour that is easy to control the masses who follow its ideology. These people are trusting of their soviet commandants and whatever they say they repeat, whatever they tell them to think they will think, and to this respect followers of socialism are automatons, NPCs, brainless cannon fodder to be used to fill the voting booths.
This is why, when the socialist American Democrat automatons feel something is wrong in the programming or that things are not going their way somehow, they generally melt down.
The classic case of this socialist melt down was the woman screaming after the 2016 election results came through, and Trump won. The collective psychosis, soviet socialist programming and automaton self had nowhere to go, the only thing this person could do as her limited world view crumbled before her very eyes was to have a complete mental breakdown. These people were conditioned and made to believe the Democrat candidate would win with such deceit and malicious control that the robot busted her circuits right there.
Observers of the socialist mindset can definitely see a pattern, these people have a certain idealism, they think they are right in all circumstances, and are the only ones who know how to live, think and be. It is the socialist who knows better than you, much like the communist thinks he does, and it is this authoritarian belief system that is omnipotent, above all. When the curtain is drawn however, and another reality is presented to these mind controlled automatons, they cannot handle it, they self-destruct. One could even stipulate these people resemble children having tantrums when they do not get what they want.
