America's Founding Fathers Knew This Day Would Come

WASHINGTON DC - USA - As President Barack Hussein Obama vowed to put his full weight into banning and restricting gun ownership in the US in a landmark speech today, Americans across their great nation have an uneasy feeling inside of them. Their founding fathers warned them that this day would one day come.

America was built on the premise of Freedom, Liberty and Justice. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America fought so hard for their nation, for their people. They would be truly appalled at what is happening now in their cherished land, where Freedom is being choked, where Liberty is being smothered, and where Justice is being subverted.

George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, Thomas Paine, Alexander Hamilton, Gouverneur Morris, where are you now that your people need you so? Their spirits live only in the constitution of the United States but for how much longer?

How long can you, the people, stand by and watch the good decent American tenets that the Founding Fathers wrote, be torn up and thrown on the floor like a piece of trash? Are you going to stand there when they come to take away all of your freedom? Are you going to stand there when they tell you you are wrong to believe in Freedom, Justice and Liberty?

"Liberty, once lost, is lost forever" said John Adams.

And when they come for your guns remember these words from Thomas Paine: "It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from its government."

As the TSA worker touches your young daughter, quote these words from James Madison out to the people standing in the checkpoint: "If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be under the guise of fighting a foreign enemy."

The Founding Fathers knew what was coming and they prepared the American people for this very outcome, they knew that some day the very government that was meant to govern the people would be the tyranny that terrorises the people. They knew that eventually things have to be treated to get better, just like an illness, America is sick and the only doctor that can cure it is YOU the people. Don't let the corrupt tyranny put you in a FEMA camp. Don't let the corrupt hypocrites and liars tell you that you are wrong to believe in the goodness that you believe in. Don't let these pirates who have taken over change the laws anymore. YOU are the law. YOU the people are the law.

Thomas Jefferson knew what eventually happens in government when he said: "Experience hath shown that even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."

And to no end, he also meant it, when he said: "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

America is silent now but for how long can the silence last?

YOu left off the Letter Box. Letters to those who can make a difference in their representation of WE THE PEOPLE have been answered with canned liberal-speak, or ignored. The Soap Box they are trying to silence, in cahoots with the press, by false accusations, ridicule, and, at times, threats. The Ballot Box they have stuffed, or otherwise perverted. The Cartridge Box they now are attempting to take away from us.

Much the same things had happened in the Colonial days. As they began to organise and train ("regulate" themselves) having done all within reason and more to plead their case for liberty, King George Third issued the order that was the final straw... General Thomas Gage, CinC of all British Forces in North America, was commanded to disarm the people. It was at that point the Colonial Patriots rose up, took up their Cartridge Boxes, and stood fast... first at Lexington, then later that same day at Concord. Then they pushed... and pushed. At first, all the way back to Boston, then continuing until Yorktown, where their General Lord Cornwallis surrendered and agreed to leave along with his men.

MY question is this: is our liberty, having been goven us by God Himself and secured for a time by those Boston area Patriots sufficiently valuable that WE THE PEOPLE, such as are now left amongst the population, will again rise up and defend it to the ultimate?

when bush said our Constitution was just a G_d__m piece of paper. There was very little outcry from the public, Obama said our Constitution was outdated and no longer applied in todays time.still,very little said by the public. Obama, Soros and Cass Sunstein called for a new more "living progressive" constitution. Still there is almost no response from the general public. A loyalist is one who is loyal to the government while a patriot is one who is loyal to the country and our Constitution upon which our country was founded. This was the situation our thirteen colonies faced. Especially in the southern colonies.

I don't think that is accurate, but maybe I am just blindly optimistic. I am actually very hopeful and I think if the message of liberty gains enough support it will be embraced by the majority of Americans. As soon as Libertarians are no longer fringe people will be more willing to listen to logic. I just hope the people are smart enough to let this happen and based on the growing number of liberty lovers in America, I know that at least a younger generation of thinkers will influence the country on a large scale. I think similarly about UKIP but as an American i obviously feel more passionate about the Libertarian party. Overall i feel that liberty is a worth while message and i think it will be largely embraced in the near future. I feel change will come as soon as liberty gains momentum. Basically after we let it gain credibility, at least in America, I think more people will agree with it. Kind of a snowball effect. Liberty should gain more support, but i think the amount it gains will be dependent on the amount it has. Overall i don't think half of Americans will roll over. Instead I think at least 66% will eventually lose the distorted perspective of government that is embraced by the 2 mainstream American partys. So than people would chose the president based on small differences much like today; eventually the differences in leadership will have nothing to do with going against the constitution. I think the concept once embraced will eliminate the whole idea of infringing on ones natural rights or at least make it look absurd within the country. We will also be able to learn so much from the mistakes we have made over the last hundred years or so and make sure this does not happen again. Like i said in the beginning, my optimism may be unjustified, but i truly do think other Americans can think as well. To me people will think and influence more thinking or a majority of people will be unable to think and allow bipartisanship to ruin the country.

While I wish, and hope, that you are right, I am afraid that it is too late. Although support for liberty appears to be growing, the tyrannical police power of the state is growing much faster. Look at Iran today as an example of state power being able to throttle any individual liberty when its to the state's advantage. If you think that is not already in place in the US, perhaps not all of it active but certainly the capability is now there, you are fooling yourself. I am afraid nothing short of a full revolution will solve the problem, but now that Posse Commitatus has been eliminated that means fighting the US Military.

It was not the Founding Fathers who knew this day was coming but rather the Anti Federalists.

The United States of America started out as a Confederation similar to the Swiss State today. They warned that a Federal Republic would soon become a National Democracy which those who understand Liberty despised.

Hamilton, the First Progressive, defended the Federalist route belittling the Anti Federalists that in no way would the Power of the Feds be abused. He insisted The Commerce, Necessary and Proper, and Welfare Clauses were all aound and not open to interpretation.

The early Americans were much more intelligent and savvy than general Americans today. They understood teh difference between a Nationalism and Federalism, and indeed Confederalism.

I want you all to imagine the United States as Switzerland. Neutral, Independent, and open for Trade. "Alliance with none, Commerce with All." Thomas Jefferson.

That is what the True Founders supported and what the American Libertarian Party is pushing for in this new century. "I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals." We will get people to join our movement through Adoption not Coercion as the Democrats and Republicans (sic) do.

Hi TRE, the founding fathers helped a GREAT deal to get rid of slavery. Also for this reason, Martin Luther King was a great supporter of the constitution. A quote from MLK;

"When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
