NEW YORK - USA - R.I.P Roddy Piper, yet he lives forever in the cult movie They Live.
The Eighties were a great time for films and one particular film that really stood out was They Live starring former wrestler Roddy Piper who sadly passed on today.
John Carpenter’s film They Live was not some big blockbuster or had amazing realism or top of the range actors but it told the truth, something that is direly missing in most films produced then and now.
Subliminal messages and symbols are everywhere, and if you are well versed, you can see them, without the special glasses.
Populations today are as unaware of the control mechanisms used to command them as they were in the Eighties, and it is to this end that the film They Live is still relevant.
If there is one film you must watch, then it must be They Live, a Carpenter masterpiece, much under-rated classic starring Roddy Piper.
